1) I included a photo of one of the two damaged corner pockets. They were stapled in place at build, and tore the plastic (nearly identical on the other side). The bottom corner of the pocket was sticking outside the edge of the cushion and would have obstructed some ball activity. I have a heat gun and black silicone sealer, so made a repair to the pocket which is partly in progress in the photo (heated and bent the plastic).2) One of the pressed in nuts that holds the legs in place was not fully inserted during build and I couldn't thread one of the 6 bolts necessary for assembly of the legs (I was able to insert a metal rod into the opening and temporarily align the threaded insert just enough to enable the bolt to be threaded to complete the leg assembly.3) There were two 1mm x 5mm drips of hot glue on the felt surface, and I had to carefully remove those drips during assembly inspection.4) There was no 'Pool placement dot' included with the accessories. There was no felt brush either.5) I chatted with the vendor and asked about leg levelers and was told that they were hidden in the legs. No levelers are available at any place in this pool table. It is all simply hot glued together (very flat I might say).6) Again I say, just good enough to pass inspection (if one was conducted during the build).7) Not to beat up the vendor too much, I must say that the double boxing of the table was awesome. It handled all the crossing of the world twice, very well!8) There are exposed edges around the skirt bottom that are going to fray over time, so I will have to secure that edge of the skirt vinyl coating myself. There are also overlap areas of vinyl that are coming loose already.9) The two pool sticks included were only partly finished. There was some sanding to correct the clear coat issues, and the bare wood was exposed. (I recoated with clear Acrylic spray to protect the pool stick)++++ I suspected a lot of this would happen at this price point. Doing it again, I would likely have purchased a little more quality build. ++++ I would only recommend this table to a quality DIYer or craftsman.FOOTNOTE: I JUST SPENT A TON OF TIME ON AMAZON CHAT TO TRY TO RESOLVE THAT THIS ITEM IS NOW $150 LESS - THAT IS A STATEMENT OF QUALITY FOR SURE. I NOW WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS FOR PURCHASE..... NO AMAZON HELP DOWN THE ROAD OTHER THAN TO RETURN [YEAH, A 300# POOL TABLE---HA]The first pool table I received was broken down the side and had to be returned. Fortunately, the process of returning and getting a new one was super easy and quick. The second one was fine and assembly was extremely easy. There isn't much to actually assemble at all. It just lifting it onto its feet that's not the easiest. The felt is very nice but I suggest buying a cheap cover as it doesn't come with one. The cues are also very cheap. They're extremely lightweight and will need replaced. Overall though, very happy with the quality of the actual table.Wasnt expecting much for a table that was under $600, but decided to try it knowing that if anything was wrong I could return it. The Amazon Delivery service literally tried everything they could to break this thing. Dragging it half on the hand truck, half bouncing on the ground. Then slide it on the hard corner of my deck and over my raised door jam. I thought for sure the side they slide it on would have been broken. But alas....everything was perfect! HOWEVER, it seems like whoever put on the adhesive under the table from the bottom of the playing surface to the structural wood was half drunk. They missed a good portion of the seems with adhesive (looks like construction adhesive), where they put it on the pieces on one end, but not on the other. I bought a tube of adhesive and finished the job.Once together, I leveled it the best I could and shot a few balls straight down the long way to see if the playing surface was warped or crowned. On one side there is the **slightest** warp that causes the ball to go towards the corner pocket about halfway down the adjacent bumper. But other than that completely liveable situation the top is amazingly flat. The fit and finish are actually pretty damn good!Now....the bad.1)One pool cue is warped from about 8"s from the striking end to the tip. Like...pretty bad. I already bought different cues anyways as the included ones are way too light. It will be fine for my daughter to use, however.2)The brush that comes with the table is complete trash.3)The cue ball has what appears to be the beginning of a crack in it. I will be contacting the company to see what they can do about that.It took my husband about 2 hours to assemble. You will definitely need two people, or three, to help you flip it over once it's assembled. The screws it came with to attach the legs to the base were not LONG enough, so my husband ended up using 5" screws! It's a good quality table for the money. Be sure you order xtra cues, because the ones that came with the table are flimsy, warped and not heavy enough. This definitely isn't the nicest table around, but it works! We had a couple screws that were improperly screwed in so it cracked the board. Thankfully it's in the inside so you can't see it. The corners and lip are sharp, so it isn't super comfortable. Still a great beginner table overall though!Let's just say first off that this is a pool table so we will report on what our issues were.Number one The wood grain on the side is some sort of a veneer that peeled back from the corner about 5 in.The bumpers are a bit stiff, not a lot of spring. The felt is not as quite as thick as on professional tables and is hard to clean with the small brush they gave you. When we began to play we played one game and then literally one of the striped balls cracked in half perfectly along the color line. Now that we've purchased new balls and better pool cues which were fairly flimsy The table is fine and looks great where we have it.One Note is that the pocket holes are a bit small as if you hit too many balls in it fills up.Both Amazon and the company did call to make sure we were satisfied and took care of us. So for that they get stars. Just that these were the things we noted and think should be pointed out.
