The pros of this fixture are it came well packaged. There was a lot of foam that held everything in place in the box. It also came with easy to follow instructions for assembling and wiring this fixture.There are many cons. It arrived with a small paint chip on top. You can't see if once it is hung, so not a huge deal, but something to note. It is also a very thin metal that is prone to bending. Several pieces were slightly bent even though they were wrapped well in the box. It took little to no effort to straighten them back into the correct place. Lastly, the mounting plate is not standard US sizing. We replaced 3 different fixtures in our house recently and none of them had any issues with alignment, but this one did not fit. We had to use spare parts from our other fixtures to make this work.It looks great and was easy to put together. Everything just screws into place and it is ready to be hung. It is a beautiful matte black that works well in our modern transitional kitchen. It does provide great light over our island. If the mounting plate had been a standard US size I would have given this a 5/5, but it took over a hour just to figure out how to make this work.
